How do I get my Form W-2?

How do I find a Jackson Hewitt Tax office in my area?
To find a location near you use our Office Locator or call 719-578-9100. Our offices have flexible hours so you can stop in at your convenience or schedule an appointment to file your tax return.
What information should I bring to Jackson Hewitt?
Make sure to bring the following materials to your tax interview:
- Wage statements (Form W-2)
- Pension, or retirement income (Forms 1099-R)
- Social Security card(s)
- Driver's license(s)
- Dependents' Social Security numbers and dates of birth
- Last year's tax return (if you are a new client)
- Information on education expenses
- Commissions received and/or paid
- Information on the sales of stocks and/or bonds
- Self-employed business income and expenses
- Lottery and/or gambling winnings and losses
- State refund amount
- Social Security and/or unemployment income
- Income and expenses from rentals

How do I check the status of my refund?
Let's start with Jackson Hewitt first. This year we have a great new way for our customers to keep in contact with us called MyTaxManager. It's a safe, secure and free tool for you, our clients. Just sign up, create an account for yourself and you can choose to receive alerts on your status through email, your cell phone or text alerts. All it takes is a computer or Internet-enabled mobile device. It also has some great extra services that come with it.

Checking with the IRS:
You can generally get information about your refund 72 hours after IRS acknowledges receipt of your e-filed return, or three to four weeks after mailing a paper return. You can go to the IRS Website or call the IRS Toll-Free, 1-800-829-1040.
You'll need to provide the following information from your tax return:
- Your Social Security Number (or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number).
- Your Filing Status.
- The exact whole dollar amount of your refund
